Darling readers, did you ever long to wear a girdle as outerwear? Maybe a cone bra too? Then your fashion dreams may have just be answered! 🙂 Target has announced that they are working with designer Jean Paul Gaultier to bring his designs to their stores. The collection will launch on Target.com and in 250+ Target stores in the US on March 7, 2010. The collection will be available through April 11, 2010. It’ll be interesting to see what Gaultier comes up with. McQ for Target is such a tough act to follow, right? Beware the Ides of March is all I can say!

In other news, H&M sent us some lovely pics of the about to be launched Jimmy Choo collection. Here’s some of the pictures of the items for women for your perusal. I don’t yet have the prices, but there are some great looking handbags here and some stunning shoes that will make some lucky bargainistas very happy. Here’s a sneak peak:
I have to say, I’m impressed! I don’t get samples or freebies of any of this stuff. I have to wait in line at H&M with everyone else on Nov. 14th. (Sorry FTC, nothing to report here.)

My final tip is that the man who popularized chic on the street, the famous blogger, Scott Schuman author of The Sartorialist, will be here in Los Angeles tomorrow night at Barney’s Beverly Hills. I’ll be running up to Beverly Hills to enjoy the book signing. Look for Scott in your city as he begins his book tour! His book dates are posted on his blog along with his amazing pictures. It is great to see a fellow blogger out on a book tour. Scott was one of the first to show us the disparity between the fashion runway versus the fashion on the street. How refreshing to see his blog showing us all the great fashion out on the streets, and not on the runway! The Sartorialist gives us fashion vérité.
