Happy Fourth of July Readers! I’m not doing much today except getting the BBQ and the mojitos ready. There are sales all over today, but I am only checking them online. Sales include: Bloomingdale’s, Loehmann’s , Gap, Old Navy, the shopping clubs (see right, under The Recessionista’s Top Picks), Macy’s and more.
Instead of shopping, I will be cooking. It’s all about cheap and cheerful entertaining at home this weekend. I’m so glad I have a BBQ grill!

Happy 4th, Recessionista! I'm with you; I all but avoided the mall today, with the one exception of Target (of course!) to pick up some last minute items for my own BBQ. Have a fun and safe holiday!
Hope you had a great 4th! We went to WalMart to pick up a grill brush, and I happened to spot an NK trench.. marked down to $8! How's that for an unplanned 4th bargain!
