budget+beauty Cosmetics for FREE as part of a Class Action Settlement

Recessionista Breaking NEWS TIP
: Website SNOPEs reports that some FREE Cosmetics will be given away as part of a Class Action Lawsuit Settlement. Click here to read the details. I just called my local Nordstrom’s and they confirmed this news. They said there is a line forming at the store for the cosmetics. All supplies are on a first come, first serve basis. Today, Jan 20, 2008 , is the beginning of this offer.

Here’s the news from the Cosmetic Settlement page: http://www.cosmeticssettlement.com

Update: I headed over to Nordstrom’s tonight after work to check this out, and its for real. I had to wait about 15 min in line to sign in and get the cosmetic of choice. I got a free bottle of Estee Lauder Night Repair which retails at 1 oz for $46.50 USD. This was not a trial size it’s the real product.

It was fun to see folks lining up for these tonight, I saw some people who may have never had access to high-end cosmetics getting to enjoy the top of the line for free.

I’m doing my own research on the different chemicals and products that are used in popular cosmetics brands and also trying to find some legit all natural, organic alternatives. I think whatever you put on your face, you should be able to consume, because if it applied to your skin you are still absorbing it into your system.

Just trying to be more proactive and understanding products and chemicals in everyday makeup, lotion and other beauty products that could be hurting your health down the line or contributing to pre-mature aging.
